"Romagoza v. Garcia:
A Case of Justice for Victims of Torture"

Carlos Mauricio was one of the plaintiffs in the Romogoza v. Garcia case. The plaintiffs eventually won a $54 million judgment against two former Salvadoran ministers of defense, using the Torture Victims' Protection Act and the Alien Tort Claims Act in American courts.
