The
Center is currently seeking portfolios, slides, and resumes
(or original work, if required) from artists working on subject
matter related to Latin America, in any media. At this time,
the Center is particularly seeking 2-dimensional works, including
sketches, paintings, photographs and the printed word, to be
featured in the gallery at the Center and in a corresponding digital
gallery on the Center's website.
The
Center also invites submissions from artists working with video,
sculpture, the spoken word and performance.

The
work of our currently featured artists can be viewed in the
gallery at the Center or on the Web in the Gallery
section (link in left menu).
The
Center is issuing a formal call for photos for inclusion in
a new digital image library.
Images should illustrate current events and issues affecting
the region. Photos of historical value are also of interest.
Selected photos from the digital image library may be used in
CLAS research publications, web publishing and for program publicity.
Photographers will receive notice if their photo is selected
and will receive full credit in the publication.
