Registration Information

We strongly encourage individuals to pre-register online by March 1, 2008. To pre-register, please send your name and affiliation to rrideau@gmail.com. There is no cost to attend the conference. Registration will also be available on-side at the conference.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The conference is being held in Covel Commons in the North area of campus, off Sunset Blvd. Please review the campus map for specific directions (www.ucla.edu/map). 

Westwood and LAX

UCLA is in Westwood area of Los Angeles. This area is relatively pricey but LAX ( Los Angeles International Airport) in Inglewood is a few miles from the campus and the hotels near the airport are much cheaper.

Hotels: Use an online booking site for reservations. These are only recommendations.

Public Transportation

Public transportation is available in the Los Angeles area including the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus (Lines 1, 2, 3, 8 and 12), the MTA (Lines 2, 21, 302, 305, and 761), or the Culver City Bus (Line 6). You can find information about buses on www.metro.net and www.bigbluebus.com/busroutes.
